Decided to get a little creative with some composite shots. I have one in mind for a 1 year birthday this weekend, so I will post pictures once it’s edited.

As we move into this new year I am hoping to make some fun new additions to the blog. It’s a resolution of mine to start blogging more about what’s going on here. Not just Sneak Peeks, but other stuff too. I’m thinking of posting some articles about basic photography tips, how to take better pictures, using the light to your advantage, things like that.
For local friends, I am starting a photography 101 class for moms. I’m going to teach basics of using your camera, and getting beyond the “auto” button – going into the different settings and shooting manual. I don’t want people to be intimidated by their cameras or be afraid of experimenting to get the best photograph possible.
And of course, we will have more giveaways – mini sessions and free stuff too 🙂

Senior Session
During our initial phone call planning session it came out that this senior really wanted her photography session in a forest. A forest? With trees and canopies and things? In Texas? In DFW? Hrm…
But I am happy to say that we found the perfect spot, with lush, dense trees and a lovely canopy, complete with fall foliage. It was a wonderful photo shoot with a great senior who I know is going to change the world for the better. I can’t wait to hear about all of her accomplishments as she heads down the road to college and greatness.
